K'taka CM loses cool at own minister over question on Lingayat
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah lost his cool at his own government's minister, Shivaraj Tangadagi, on questions about recognising Lingayat as a separate religion. When Minister said journalists were asking his opinion on the issue, CM Siddaramaiah replied, "Aye! I don’t have a stand on it...the people’s stand is my stand." The Lingayat community has renewed its demand for separate religion status.
