Kamal Haasan makes Parliament debut, takes oath as Rajya Sabha MP in Tamil
Actor-politician Kamal Haasan was sworn-in as a Rajya Sabha MP on Friday. The Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) chief, making his Parliament debut, took the oath in Tamil. Haasan was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha in June, with the support of the DMK-led alliance. The 70-year-old had launched MNM in 2018.
