Gangath, a small town in the Indora assembly constituency of Kangra district, once echoed with the rhythmic clang of hammer on brass. Fondly known as 'Bhandian Wala Shahar,' this town was famous for its antique brass vessels-especially the 'Baltoi', 'Gaagar', and traditional buckets. 40 years ago, Gangath thrived as a mini brass utensil industry, supplying handcrafted kitchenware across region.
