Khanna took no fee for Anand, earned 10x as distributor: Thakur
Film historian Dilip Thakur, in an old interview with ETimes, revealed that late actor Rajesh Khanna didn't charge "any remuneration" for 1971 film 'Anand' despite being the highest-paid actor. "Instead, he obtained the distribution rights under his firm Shaktiraj Films," said Thakur. He added that Khanna earned ten times more than his remuneration through the film's distribution.
