Lebanon tells Iran security chief to not interfere over Hezbollah
Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun and PM Nawaf Salam warned Iranian security chief Ali Larijani over foreign interference in Hezbollah's operations in the country. The Lebanese government recently agreed on a move to disarm Hezbollah in a historic decision. Hezbollah, an Iran-backed Shiite paramilitary force, is the only non-state group to hold arms since the Lebanese civil war ended in 1990.
