Lithuanian govt collapses after PM resigns over corruption charges
Lithuania's coalition government collapsed on Monday after PM Gintautas Paluckas resigned from his position, followed by his cabinet. Paluckas resigned after being accused of corruption over his business ties to a company owned by his sister-in-law. Lithuania's President Gitanas Nauseda has appointed Finance Minister Rimantas Šadžius as acting prime minister until a new cabinet is sworn in.
