Madagascar's Prez flees country amid Gen-Z protests
Madagascar's president Andry Rajoelina has fled the nation amid massive protests by Gen-Z. While Rajoelina said that he is in a "safe place", he has refused to resign saying that he would not "allow Madagascar to be destroyed". The Gen-Z protests began due to chronic water and power cuts and later evolved into a larger movement demanding Rajoelina's resignation.
