Made me believer: 'Conjuring...' director on experiencing haunting
Michael Chaves, the director of horror film 'Conjuring: Last Rites', recalled on-set instances that turned him into a "believer". He said, "My experiences on 'The Conjuring: Last Rites' have made me a believer." He further added, "The Smurls and the conviction they had in telling their story...was a jarring, traumatic event." He also heard voices when he was home alone.
