Mahanta had moved SC before arrest in Zubeen death case: Report
Prime accused Shyamkanu Mahanta had approached the Supreme Court on September 30 from Singapore, seeking protection from arrest in Zubeen Garg’s death case. He alleged false implication and harassment with 54 FIRs and threats. Mahanta was arrested in Delhi on Oct 1, while Garg’s manager Siddhartha Sharma was nabbed in Rajasthan. Both face BNS charges as SIT probes the case.
