Maharashtra man saves 300 types of native seeds; shares for free
Shivshankar Chapule began collecting seeds of native trees and herbs in 2020. A nature lover since childhood, he started a seed bank in Latur to conserve them. In 2022, he quit his job to work full-time on native biodiversity conservation and has saved seeds of over 300 types of shrubs, herbs and trees. He shares them for free with growers.
