Making deal difficult: Trump as Canada backs Palestine statehood
US President Donald Trump has responded after Canada said it'll recognise the state of Palestine in September. "Wow! Canada has just announced that it's backing statehood for Palestine...that will make it very hard for us to make a Trade Deal with them...oh' Canada!!!" Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social. Earlier, France and UK also backed Palestinian statehood.
