Mamata Banerjee calls North Bengal floods man-made, blames Centre
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Monday called Darjeeling floods “man-made”. Blaming Centre for releasing DVC water, she said, "How much water will we handle? Water is coming from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh. Ganga is full. DVC releasing water as and when it wishes. We are suffering from floods due to Maithon, DVC, Panchet. So many lives lost in man-made floods."
