New York City Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani's wife, Rama Duwaji, faced backlash online after she shared a tribute for Palestinian influencer, journalist Saleh al-Jafarawi on Instagram, who was killed on Monday during clashes in Gaza. Saleh had openly hailed October 7 Hamas attacks. Notably, Mamdani was recently chased out of an NYC park by a man, who called him "anti-Semite".
