Man gets 14-week jail for sending death threat emails to Sunak
A man named Liam Shaw was sentenced to 14 weeks in jail and given a two-year restraining order for sending racist death-threat emails to then-UK PM Rishi Sunak in June 2024. He pleaded guilty to sending two emails to Sunak’s parliamentary address. Shaw was also ordered to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity and a six-month drug rehabilitation program.
