Man who sold fishing nets in WWII makes his 6 grandkids billionaires, skips own kids
Billionaire Goh Cheng Liang, who sold fishing nets during World War II and died in Singapore last month, made six of his eight grandkids billionaires by transferring 55% stake in Nippon Paints to them. Each of the grandkids, one of whom is an academic in US, now owns over $1.1 billion. Liang hasn't given any wealth to his own kids.
