Martial law in Thailand's border areas amid deadly conflict with Cambodia
Martial law has been declared in at least eight districts of two Thailand provinces- Chanthaburi and Trat- amid deadly clashes with Cambodia, a military official said. This came hours after Thailand's acting PM Phumtham Wechayachai warned that the intensifying clashes could develop into war. At least 16 people have died as fighting broke out at around 12 border locations.
