Massive protests in Ukraine against Zelenskyy for weakening anti-corruption agencies
Massive protests erupted in parts of Ukraine after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a bill weakening anti-corruption agencies. The bill gives new powers to Ukraine's prosecutor general and makes it easier for the government to control which cases are pursued. Critics said that the legislation allows political interference, however, Zelenskyy said that cases had been "lying dormant".
