Massive sinkhole appears as road collapses in Bangkok, swallows cars
A section of road in Thailand's Bangkok collapsed on Wednesday, creating a massive sinkhole that swallowed several cars. The 50-metre deep sinkhole extended about 900 square metres in front of Vajira Hospital, halting traffic. The incident damaged infrastructure and forced evacuations in the area. According to officials, it was caused by ongoing construction of an underground train station.
