Meghalaya Police file FIRs against those who made communal statements after MP man's murder
Meghalaya Police said FIRs have been registered against people who allegedly made false propaganda against residents of the state after murder of MP's Raja Raghuvanshi. "There are some people who [gave] communal statements...We've taken that into cognisance," East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem said. Ministers from Meghalaya called it "an attack on image of Meghalaya".
