Meloni slams trade union chief for calling her Trump’s 'courtesan'
Italian PM Giorgia Meloni condemned the boss of CGIL, Italy’s biggest trade union, Maurizio Landini, for calling her US President Donald Trump’s “courtesan". Landini accused Meloni of “not having lifted a finger” to bring peace in Gaza, limiting her role to "playing Trump’s courtesan". Sharing a screenshot defining "courtesan", the Italian PM said Landini was "clouded by a mounting resentment".
