Ahead of their Women's ODI World Cup 2025 opener against England, South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt said the men's World Test Championship 2023–25 victory was "awesome". "It's been amazing to see how the country supported them, how excited everyone was back at home and united to support them in that trophy," she stated, adding, "Hopefully, we can do something special."
