Meta & Russia's Yandex 'secretly' tracking browser activity, using data in apps: Report
Mark Zuckerberg-owned Meta and Russian search engine Yandex have been 'covertly tracking" Android users' browser activity and then using data in their apps using scripts, European experts have claimed. The scripts bypassed Android's security measures and tracked user activity even in incognito mode. Meta has been using the method for eight months while Yandex has been using it since 2017.
