Meta pauses spree of poaching AI staff after offering $100-million packages: Report
Meta has paused its spree of hiring AI employees from rival companies after offering packages as high as $100 million/year, WSJ reported. This comes after the Mark Zuckerberg-led company reportedly hired over 50 AI researchers and engineers as it builds a Superintelligence team. It isn't clear how long the pause, which also bars employees from internal transfers, will last.
