Meta is testing a "major" change to its Instagram app by making Reels the default tab. The experiment, currently opt-in and being conducted in India, will see Reels and Direct Messages as first two tabs on the app. Instagram is also introducing a new “Following” tab, giving users multiple ways to see "latest and greatest from the accounts they follow".
