Minimally invasive heart surgery undertaken at Max Hospital, Delhi
In Delhi, doctors at Max Hospital, Saket successfully implanted India's first dual-chamber leadless pacemaker (AVEIR DR) in an 83-year-old patient with multiple health issues. The surgery was led by Dr Balbir Singh. As per experts, the minimally invasive procedure avoids chest incisions, ensures faster recovery, and marks a breakthrough in advanced, wireless cardiac care in India.
