Mississippi woman kills escaped lab monkey to protect kids
Jessica Bond Ferguson, a woman from US' Mississippi, shot and killed an escaped monkey in her yard, fearing it threatened her children. The monkey was part of a truck crash involving research animals. Her son noticed movement outside and alerted her, suspecting it might be one of the escaped animals. Ferguson said she immediately grabbed her firearm...before stepping outside.
