Mobile Internet & WiFi services down in J&K amid heavy rains

Mobile internet and WiFi services are down in parts of Jammu and Kashmir after damage to optical fibres at numerous places amid heavy rains in the region. J&K CM Omar Abdullah posted on X, "There is...no fixed line WiFi, no browsing, almost no apps, things like X open frustratingly slowly, WhatsApp struggles with anything more than short text messages."
