Mother had kidney failure, said 'You do it': Taylor on retirement U-turn to play for Samoa
Ex-New Zealand cricketer Ross Taylor, who came out of retirement to play international cricket for Samoa, said a phone call with his ailing mother changed his mind. "She had kidney failure, so I had the opportunity to run it past her before she passed away," Taylor recalled. The 41-year-old added, "She just said, 'Up to you, son. You do it'."
