Motion to impeach Justice Varma was not admitted in RS: Reports
The Opposition parties' motion to impeach Justice Yashwant Varma was not admitted in Rajya Sabha, as per reports. The motion accepted by former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will be junked, the reports added. Notably, large amount of cash was found at Justice Varma's residence in March. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said Lok Sabha will initiate proceedings to remove Justice Varma.
