MP school shifts weekly off from Sunday to Friday for prayers, revokes order after outrage
The Anjuman Islamia English Medium School in Jabalpur faced a backlash after it issued an order changing the weekly off from Sunday to Friday so that students can attend Friday prayers. The school management withdrew the order after backlash; however, Jabalpur’s District Education Officer visited the school and announced that action would be taken against the school following an investigation.
