Mudskipper fish have strong, muscular pectoral fins that they use almost like arms to move on land. They push themselves forward in a series of hops by planting their fins on the ground. This ability helps them survive both in and out of water. They are native to mangrove swamps and tidal flats in Australia, Africa, and Asia.
