Mutual disputes can happen anywhere: Lalan on Patna shootout
Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh, reacting to Patna hospital shootout where a parolee was shot dead, said such incidents can happen due to "mutual disputes". He stated, "If I hit him...they hit me...then is this a crime? This is a mutual dispute…in any country." Chandan Mishra, a parolee who came to hospital for treatment, was shot dead by gunmen.
