Mysterious jet-black tree snake species discovered in PNG
Researchers in Papua New Guinea have discovered a mysterious species of tree snake, referred to as Dendrelaphis Atra. The reptile, having a neatly black-hued body, was found slithering over the site of an abandoned building. It's approximately four feet long and part of a category of tree-habitation snakes usually hard to categorise. PNG hosts over 80 identified species of snakes.
