Nepal govt allies seek ex-King Gyanendra's arrest over protests
Nepal's ruling coalition has sought the arrest of former King Gyanendra Shah over the violence that erupted in Kathmandu during protests seeking re-establishment of monarchy. The number of security personnel at the private residence of the ex-King Gyanendra was also reduced from 25 to 16 and reports emerged that his passport could be revoked. Two people died in the protests.
