Newborn girl found abandoned in basket in Maharashtra, 'sorry' note recovered
A newborn girl has been found abandoned in a basket in Navi Mumbai, with her parents leaving a note in it, apologising and expressing inability to raise her due to poor financial condition, police said. The newborn was left on pavement with a bottle and a sachet of milk powder. The baby was discovered by residents living near the orphanage.
