Nicaragua recognises annexed Ukrainian regions as part of Russia
Central American nation Nicaragua has formally recognised the four annexed regions of Ukraine as part of Russia. Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia were annexed during the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. "We recognise and firmly support the heroic battle Russia is waging against Ukrainian neo-Nazism which is supported by NATO," Nicaraguan co-Presidents Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo said.
