Nifty holds above 24,900; IT, Paper stocks lead gains
Indian markets opened higher Monday with Nifty at 24,904, led by strong IT and paper stocks. Infosys, TCS, and Wipro gained up to 3%, while JK Paper and Tamil Nadu Newsprint surged over 12%. Yes Bank rose after RBI cleared SMBC's 24.99% stake. Reliance Group stocks slid 5% despite clarifications on CBI probe.
