Niro shuts down after funding crunch, was valued at $58.4 million
Bengaluru-based firm Niro, which offered embedded credit products to internet platforms, shut down after 4.5 years of operations. Co-founder Aditya Kumar said, "$20 million funding, $200 million in loan disbursements, 30 partnerships and 4.5 years later, we've had to shut down Niro." Niro raised $18.7 million in funding, was valued at $58.4 million. At its peak, it employed 290 people.
