Nissan mulls sale of $610 mn HQ to KKR to ease debt
Nissan may sell its Yokohama HQ to KKR for about $610 million in a lease-back deal, giving the debt-laden carmaker breathing room as losses mount. The move is part of its "Re:Nissan" plan, including plant closures, bond raises, and workforce cuts. Facing $5.6 billion debt due next year, Nissan aims to trim capacity by 30% and save $3.4 billion.
