NMIA set to operationalise 0.5MMTPA capacity by Jan 2026
Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), which is set to commence operations on September 30, intends to operationalise its entire 0.5MMTPA cargo capacity under Phase-1 by January 2026. The airport is being developed as a major cargo hub, with an initial Phase1 of 0.5MMTPA, with plans to scale up to 3.2MMTPA. NMIA also plans to develop it as a transhipment airport.
