No formal discussion held with US yet: India on acquiring F-35 fighter jets
No "formal discussions" have been held as yet between India and the US about the procurement of F-35 fighter jets, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh told the Lok Sabha. This comes after a Bloomberg report claimed that India won't buy F-35 jets from the US after President Trump announced 25% tariffs and a penalty on India.
