Ex-India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin opined that Virat Kohli's Test retirement decision was deliberate and it should be respected. "No one decides about retirement overnight," he added. Ashwin noted that while fans may think Kohli is still in his prime after his 135(120) in Ranchi ODI, "Test cricket is a different kettle of fish, and he's made his decision about that".
