No proper hygiene in jail, Sharmishta has kidney stones: Lawyer
Lawyer of Sharmishta Panoli, who has been arrested by Bengal police for alleged defamatory remarks against Islam, claimed that no proper hygiene is being maintained at Alipore women's correctional home. "She has kidney stones and isn't feeling well...She hasn't been given access to newspapers/magazines," he said. We filed a plea for her to get access to basic rights, he added.
