Northern Railway cancels 22 trains in Jammu division amid floods
Northern Railway cancelled 22 trains departing, arriving, or halting at Jammu, Katra, and Udhampur railway stations for August 27. Another 27 trains have been short-terminated at Firozpur, Manda, Chak Rakhwalan, and Pathankot, due to heavy rainfall and flooding. The deluge has caused landslides, road and bridge damage, forcing widespread disruptions. Jammu city recorded over 250 mm of rain in 20 hours.
