Not one, but two asteroids killed dinosaurs: Scientists
Not one but two asteroids may have been responsible for the extinction of dinosaurs, according to scientists. New images confirm a 9-km Nadir Crater, located 300 m under the floor of the Atlantic Ocean, caused by an asteroid smashing into Earth around 66 million years ago. That's the same age as the dinosaur-killing 200-km-wide Chicxulub impact crater in Mexico.
