Nvidia, Microsoft, BlackRock strike $40 bn AI data centre deal
An investor group including BlackRock, Microsoft and Nvidia is buying one of the world's biggest data centre operators worth $40 billion. This marks first deal for AI infrastructure partnership, which includes Abu Dhabi-based fund MGX and Elon Musk's xAI among others. The acquisition is the latest in series of massive deals involving Silicon Valley startups fuelled by AI boom.
