Objection petition u/s 47 CPC shouldn't be start of new trial: SC
The Supreme Court held that the objection petition under Section 47 of the Civil Procedure Code, 1908 (CPC) should not invariably be treated as a commencement of a new trial. The Court said that the object of Section 47 CPC is to prevent unwarranted litigation and dispose of all objections as expeditiously as possible.
