A YouTuber, identified as Rupa Nayak, was arrested in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district for allegedly cooking the meat of a rare and protected species of monitor lizard. Nayak reportedly found the lizard on a road, took it home, cooked it, recorded a video, and uploaded it on social media. The forest department took suo motu cognisance, and Nayak was arrested.
