Oil prices hit 5-month high after US attacks nuclear sites in Iran
Oil prices briefly hit five-month highs on Monday amid concerns of disruption to energy markets after the US joined Israel in attacking Iran's nuclear facilities. Brent Crude Futures jumped to $79.12/barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude climbed to $76, hitting highest levels since January, News18 reported. Notably, US had hit three Iranian nuclear sites- Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan.
