Oil prices rise over 4% as Iran-Israel conflict enters 6th day
Oil prices surged over 4% on Wednesday as the Iran-Israel conflict entered its sixth day. Brent North Sea Crude and West Texas Intermediate, the most popular oil benchmarks, rose 4.4% and 4.3%, respectively. The continuing exchange of airstrikes between Israel and Iran returned geopolitical risk to oil markets, said a senior analyst with PRICE Futures Group.
